Singapore, February 8, 2008 - Ah Meng, Singapore Zoo’s most famous and well-loved orang utan, passed away today due to old age. She was an estimated 50 years old.
abit slow rite? this blog. yes, its old news and i did felt bit sad initially. Then just now, i visited other blogs and saw Ah Meng's closed up photo. Yes, she is really old. And she really looked different. From a small Orang Utan, she grew, had family. And she really looked, feel like a real human. A normal animal, u take the photo, and Ah Meng, u take photo on her, the feeling, looking into her eyes, its just abit different.
maybe im too senstive, maybe im crazy, but i know, how time flies... the happy things, even people around us do not last forever and..many times, we really take it/them for granted...maybe including Ah Meng of Singapore Zoo? that we take her for granted? 'oh she's just an orang utan in the zoo'....
May she RIP.
